| OLD BLUFORD GRADE SCHOOL |
| There were many one room and a
few two room grade schools out around Bluford. Some of thoise were:
Black Oak Ridge, Webber Grove, Screamer or Wetherspoon, Hickory Hill,
Marlow, Markham City and a few more. None of those are schools anymore.
Webber Grove has been the Bluford American Legion Hall for a number of
years. The Hickory Hill School building was moved to the Jefferson
County Historical Society Site in northwest Mt. Vernon. |
