of Jefferson County a listing of Cemeteries and to provide pictures
of headstones to help you in your personal research.

So please do not take the cemetery listings and pictures 
that others have worked so hard to provide and add it 
to any other website as your own.

I have a correction that needs to be made to the cemetery web site for the birth
and death dates for my grandmother's gravestone. Some years ago, my husband and
I ordered a gravestone for her, giving the correct dates. When some years later,
I stopped by to see the gravestone, (I live in Florida) lo and behold, the
monument company had inscribed the wrong dates. I informed the company,
and they quickly replaced the stone with a new correct one, but not before the
1st gravestone had been recorded and posted on the web.

She is presently listed on the web as:
Carnahan, Gertrude Angline 6-15-1955 3-27-1981 Higginson
(should be Angeline) (These dates are incorrect)

The correct dates on the newest stone are:
CARNAHAN, Gertrude Angeline 3-27-1893 6-15-1955 HIGGINSON

Gweneth (Wells) Kersh is the daughter of James Alvin Wells
and Cora Jennie Beckham. She married Oran W. Kersh.

Rev. Oran W. Kersh is the son of William H. Kersh
and Jessie F. (?). He married Gweneth Wells.

Whitsell, Richard Ray 9-21-1928 8-10-2001 Korea Closer View of Stone
Richard Ray Whitsell married Ina Bell Loman.
She is the daughter of James Harrison Loman and Iva Bell Bradley.
