MRS. CECELIA ALLEN DIES: BURIAL HERE 3 P.M. WEDNESDAY 
The body of Mrs. Cecelia Ann ALLEN, who died 
at her home in Steeleville, Mo. at 11 o'clock las night, will be brought 
to Mt. Vernon for burial. 

Services will be held at the grave in Oakwood Cemetery at 3 o'clock Tuesday 
afternoon, conducted by Rev. C.M. PRICE. 

Mrs. ALLEN, the widow of Dr. N.B. ALLEN, was 82 years 11 months 
and 10 days of age. She was born May 20 1856 in Indiana, the daughter of 
Mr. and Mrs. William RAVENSCROFT. Her husband died March 13, 1931. 
She is survived by 3 sons, C.G. ALLEN of Salem, N.B. ALLEN of Marion, 
and M.C. ALLEN of Steeleville, Missouri, and one daughter Mrs. CHARLES 
VALIER of St. Louis. 


(There are some errors in the obituary. Namely M.C. instead of M.S. 
ALLEN and the day of burial. Date of death of Mrs. Cecelia ALLEN was 30 April 1939.)
