Wife of Alonzo Baker Dies Today
Grace Baker, aged 66 years and one day, died this morning
at 10:30 o'clock at her home in Elk Prairie township, where
she has been a lifetime resident. She was the wife of Alonzo Baker,
whom she married January 1, 1896, and the daughter of the late
Isaac and Mary (Boswell) Mendenall.
Mrs. Baker is survived by her husband, three sons, Harold of Ina,
Lester, at home, Marion, Denver, Colo.; three daughters, Mrs. Eula Lott,
Moffett, Okla., Mrs. Mildred Dare, Benton, Mrs. Aline Dawe, Nason;
three brothers, Harry Mendenall, Oxnard, Calif., Neal Mendenall,
Sims, Bert Mendenall, Mt. Vernon; a sister, Mrs. Alice Scott of
Dustin, Okla., and seven grandchildren
She was a member of the Elk Prairie Church.
Funeral arrangements have not been made.
