Widow of George W. Davis Dies
Mrs. Irene Fryar of RFD 4, Mt. Vernon, has received word
of the death of her aunt, Mrs. Alice (Boswell) Davis, which
occurred at the home of her brother, Samuel P. Boswell in
Almyra, Ark. Mrs. Davis was the widow of George W. Davis,
formerly of Mt. Vernon and the daughter of the late Isaac and
Margaret (Baker) Boswell of Mt. Vernon. Had she lived until
March 27, she would have been 92 years old. Mrs. Davis had
resided in Almyra for the past 19 years.
Surviving are two brothers, John Boswell of Centralia and
Samuel Boswell of Almyra, Ark.
She was preceded in death by seven sisters and one brother.
