George M. HOPKINS, 79, died at 3 a.m. today at his home
in Dahlgren where he resided for the past few years.
Funeral services will be conducted by the Rev. Bird GREEN
and the Rev. O. R. BUESS Sunday at 1:30 p.m. in the Methodist
Church at Dahlgren and burial will be in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
Mr. HOPKINS is survived by his widow, Mary, one son, Golda,
two step-children, Mrs. Herman SHIRLEY of Dahlgren, Norval PAGE
of Belle Rive and 9 grandchildren. A member of the Laird United
Brethren Church. Mr. HOPKINS lived in Jefferson County all his
life near Belle Rive.
