ISAAC N. JONES, WAYNE CITY, DIES

Wayne City, IL. June 1, 1943 

Isaac N. (Squire) Jones, 82, died at the home of his daughter, 
Mrs. Grover Smith, six miles south of Wayne City, Monday afternoon. Funeral 
services will be held at Olive Branch Church at 2 p.m. and burial will follow in 
the Opdyke Cemetery. 

Mr. Jones a retired farmer and Carpenter, spent most of his life 
in the vicinity of Wayne City. The body will be brought to his daughters home 
where friends may call up until the time of the funeral hour. Mr. Jones is 
survived by two daughters, Mrs. Grover Smith of Wayne City and Mrs. Charles 
Austin of Harvey, ILL.; and four sons Guy of Harvey, ILL. Jake of Chicago, Carl 
of Herrick, ILL and Herman who is somewhere oversees with the U. S. Army.
