Marvin G. Robertson

Marvin G. Robertson, 67, of Belle Rive, passed away at 8:40 a.m. 
Saturday, March 28, 2009, at his residence.
He was born in Belle Rive on Jan. 27, 1942, a son of Homer W. and 
Nana Ruth (Ratliff) Robertson. He was a farmer. 

Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Harre Funeral Home 
in Dahlgren with the Rev. Kent Hails officiating. Burial will follow at 
Flint Cemetery in Belle Rive.Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. tonight 
at the funeral home.

Mr. Robertson is survived by brothers, Gerald Robertson and wife Beverly 
of Belle Rive, Dean Robertson and wife Mary Beth of Ashley and Kevin Robertson 
and wife Rita of Dow; a sister, Becky Robertson of Las Vegas; and numerous nephews 
and nieces.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Mr. Robertson was a member and deacon of Belle Rive Christian Church in 
Belle Rive and loved to tinker on anything mechanical. He loved the Lord 
first and farming second.

For those who wish, memorials may be made to Belle Rive Christian Church and 
will be accepted at Harre Funeral Home in Dahlgren, which is in charge of all 
arrangements.
