In the name of God, Amen

I Joseph Frost (Senior) of the County of Jefferson and State of Illinois of the age of seventy three years, 
and being of sound mind and memory do make, publish and declare this my last will and testament in 
manner of following.

First - after payment of all my just debts and Funeral expenses and all expenses necessary I give and 
bequeath to my wife Mary Frost all of my real estate and personal property with all moneys credits 
chasis in action and property that may belong to me in any manner whatever. To be her property 
during her natural life.

Second - I give and bequeath to my son Samuel T. Frost all of my real estate to suit. The east half 
of the north east quarter of section seventy three township two south range two east, also 8 acres in 
the south east corner of section thirty four, town one south range two east in Jefferson County, Illinois. 
Also, 19 acres in the south west corner of section south 35, in township so 1 south range two east 
and ? m in Jefferson County, Illinois. With this provision that my son Samuel Frost is to take proper 
care and support his mother (my wife) Mary Frost - during her natural life, and the he shall in all respects 
demean himself toward her as an obedient son shall toward a mother. And provide further that upon 
the death of my wife Mary Frost. If my son Samuel Frost refuses to pay or fails to pay the sum of two 
thousand dollars for my said discribed Seal estate, said real estate is to be divided equally among my 
children and heirs and if my son Samuel Frost does pay the said amount of $2000.00 then he is not to 
secure a dividend of said amount, and further that he is to improve and keep repairs said premises.

In witness I have herewith to set my hand and seal this 18th day of November 1874.

The above instrument consisting of one sheet was at the dare thereof signed sealed and published and 
declared by the said Joseph Frost as, and for his last will and testament in presence of us, who, at his 
request, and in his presence and in the presence of each other have subscribed our names as witnesses 
thereto
